Quality Policy

This is the Quality Policy adopted by DBS Management

The policy of Dromon Bureau of Shipping is to provide controlled and continually improving quality services to worldwide International Maritime companies in support of our mission, based on providing an unbiased personal service to each client and being responsive to their individual requirements.

We pledge to monitor our performance as an on-going activity and to strive for continuous improvement, DBS is committed to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standards and continually improve the effectiveness of the quality management system through Management Reviews at appropriate intervals.

DBS Quality Policy is implemented by:

  • Ensuring that tasks are assigned to the personnel having relevant knowledge, experience or training to the assigned task.
  • Ensuring that all work related equipment and facilities are maintained and kept in good working order at all times.
  • Ensuring that all duties, responsibilities, authority are clearly understood but all related personnel, and that are defined and documented.
  • Ensuring promptly corrective action for any non conforming service and arrange preventing action to avoid re-occurrence.
  • Ensuring a person responsible for quality is assigned.
  • Ensuring that all services provided are being carried out as documented.
  • Continuous improvement of the system by means of Internal and external audits and Management reviews.

The Organisation's Policy is reviewed at least once annually during Management Review Meeting taking into consideration any new rules and regulations, laws and if necessary modified to address the changes.

The Policy is available and distributed to all employees of DBS.
